Last week I headed down to Griffith Park in Eltham with these three terrors...I mean rockstars! ;) It was so much fun to hang out with them, we see each other at school drop off and pick up all the time, their Mum Erin was one of the first people who made me feel welcome when we moved to Eltham 2 years ago...we got to know each other pretty quickly as the first three interactions we had were me in tears! She was a shoulder to cry on, quite literally, a support I could lean on and just made me feel human instead of some alien from another planet.
Christmas Sessions are coming to Tiny and Brave in a few short weeks, and as we had this session locked in many months ago with Ebony, Aston and Harry, I convinced Erin to let them be the faces of the exciting new sessions on offer! It was such a beautiful night in the suburbs, warm and quiet. If it wasn't for all the yelling and laughing, rolling around int he grass and fox hunting, it would've been quite peaceful haha!!
I love Griffith Park. It is a beautiful place to just hang out with your family, have a picnic, bring the dogs for a run in the of the leash section, take an adventure along the walking track and enjoy the view of the Yarra River as it bends around the reserve.
Thank you Erin for bringing your sweet little people to play with me, for choosing me to photograph them at such fun and exciting ages and for being the kind of friend a lonely Mum new to Melbourne needed to survive x
